JMR AT THE SALES GOLD COAST · 11–12 OCTOBER 2026
Join James Moore Racing at the 2026 Gold Coast Horses in Training Sale as we inspect, assess and shortlist two-year-olds with the preparation already behind them to progress towards trials and Queensland racing.

Walk the complex with us, inspect the two-year-olds and discuss conformation, action, temperament and suitability.
Review the shortlist before the auction begins at 3.30pm AEST, then go through the bidding and purchase process with our team.
THE ADVANTAGE A MORE INFORMED TWO-YEAR-OLD PURCHASE
Unlike a yearling purchase, these horses have already been broken in and are presented at a working stage. Buyers can assess a prospect with more information about how it moves, handles the environment and performs at speed.
The early breaking-in and education phase is already established, providing a clearer view of the horse in work.
Breeze-up footage and sale inspections allow us to assess action, balance and athletic ability before bidding.
Suitable horses can enter the stable much closer to trials and Queensland two-year-old races, subject to their individual program.
NEW FOR 2026For the first time, eligible two-year-old lots from this sale can be paid up for the Magic Millions Race Series, subject to the series conditions. It gives buyers the opportunity to assess a horse already in training while retaining access to a national race series offering more than $20 million in prizemoney.
The catalogue identifies which lots are eligible or already nominated. We’ll work through that status with you before any purchase and explain the next steps.
Join us for a drink and a spot of lunch while we inspect the catalogue and work through our shortlist. We’ll explain what we look for, how we compare each horse and how the purchase and ownership process works.
There is no obligation to purchase. It is an opportunity to experience the sale with our team and see how we approach the search for our next two-year-old prospect.
